Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: C

Explanation

The correct answer is Option 3 i.e 2.

Understanding/Application

Other incomes of A = 5500 + 3500 + 5000 = Rs. 14,000

4 times of the other income of A = (14000 × 4) = Rs. 56000

Salary of A = Rs. 52000

Other incomes of B = 4500 + 3000 + 3000 = Rs. 10,500

4 times of the other income of B = (10500 × 4) = Rs. 42000

Salary of B = Rs. 48500

Other incomes of C = 1500 + 4000 + 2500 + 2000 = Rs. 10000

4 times of the other income of C = (10000 × 4) = Rs. 40000

Salary of C = Rs. 42000

Other incomes of D = 2500 + 3000 + 2000 + 1500 = Rs. 9,000

4 times of the other income of D = (9000 × 4) = Rs. 36000

Salary of D = Rs. 31000

Other incomes of E = 3200 + 1500 + 2000 = Rs. 6700

4 times of the other income of E = (6700 × 4) = Rs. 26800

Salary of E = Rs. 25000

2 employees(B and C) have their salary more than 4 times of their other incomes.
