The sum of three prime numbers is 90. If one of them exceeds the other by 30, then one of the numbers is:

The correct answer is option 3 i.e. 59.

Let primes be p, q, r

p = q + 30

So, (q + 30) + q + r = 90

⇒ 2q + r = 60

If q = 29 ⇒ r = 2 (prime)
