SSC CGL Tier II Quant - 12/09/2019 • Quantitative Aptitude • Q41

The sum of the interior angles of a regular polygon is 1260°. What is the difference between an exterior angle and an interior angle of the polygon ?

Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: B

Explanation

The correct answer is option 2 i.e. 100°.

(n - 2) × 180 = 1260

⇒ n - 2 = 7

⇒ n = 9

Total exterior angle = 360°

Total interior angle = 1260°

Difference = (1260 - 360) / 9

 = 900/9

= 100°
