Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: D

Explanation

The correct answer is option 4 i.e. 55 cm.

Understanding/Application

Ratio of sides of a tringle = 5 : 2 : 1

Perimeter of triangle = Sum of all sides = 88 cm

Let the common ratio be x.

5x + 2x + 1x = 88

8x = 88

x = 88

Longest side = 5x = 5(11) = 55 cm
