The ratio of two numbers is 3 : 5 and their Least Common Multiple is 120. What is the sum of the two numbers?

Explanation

Ratio = 3 : 5

Let the numbers be 3x and 5x

LCM = 15x

15x = 120

x = 8

Numbers -

3 × 8 = 24

5 × 8 = 40

Sum = 24 + 40 = 64
