Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: B

Explanation

Correct Answer is option 2 i.e. Rs. 70000

Understanding

Application

Suppose monthly incomes of Pawan and Sunil are 4x and 3x.

Suppose their monthly expenditures are 3y and 2y.

Since Pawan and Sunil save Rs. 4000 and Rs. 6000 respectively per month;

4x – 3y = 4000

And

3x – 2y = 6000

Solving the equations:

x = 10000, y = 12000

Hence,

Sum of their monthly incomes = 7x = 70000
