Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: B

Explanation

The correct answer is option 2 i.e. 72 hours.

Understanding/Application

Total time taken to make a car = 1200 hours

Percentage of time taken in J1 = 14%

Time taken in J1 = 14% of 1200 = (1200 × 14)/100 = 168 hours

Percentage of time taken in J4 = 8%

Time taken in J4 = 8% of 1200 = (1200 × 8)/100 = 96 hours

Difference = 168 - 96 = 72 hours
