What is the difference between the average number of bikes sold by P, Q, R and S and the average number of bikes sold by T, U, V and W?

Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: A

Explanation

The correct answer is option 1 i.e. 150

Calculation:

The average number of bikes sold by P, Q, R, and S = {(21 +19 + 5 + 20) % ×  2000)}/4 = 325

So, the average number of bikes sold by T, U, V, and W = (2000 - 1300)/4 = 175

Now, the difference = 325  - 175 = 150

The difference between the average number of bikes sold by P, Q, R, and S and the average number of bikes sold by T, U, V, and W is 150.
