Explanation

The correct answer is option 4 i.e.  643\sqrt{3}.

Given that

The perimeter of an equilateral triangle is 48 cm

The perimeter of an equilateral triangle = 3 × side

The area of the equilateral triangle = 3\sqrt{3}/4 × side2

⇒ 3 × side = 48

⇒ Side = 48/3 = 16 cm

The area of the equilateral triangle = 3\sqrt{3}/4 × 162 =  643\sqrt{3}
