Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: D

Explanation

The correct answer is option 4 i.e. 18480

The total number of vanila and chocolate cakes sold on Saturday = 16% of 10500 = 1680

The ratio of the vanila and cholate cakes on Saturday = 4 : 3

Vanila : chocolate = (1680/7) × 4 : (1680/7) × 3 = 960 : 720

The total amount earned (in Rs) by selling all Vanilla cakes and chocolate cakes on Saturday = 960 × 8 + 720 × 15 =7680 + 10800 = Rs 18480
