Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: A

Explanation

The correct answer is option 1 i.e.  81112\frac{81}{112}

The largest fraction is 1271\frac{2}{7} = 97\frac{9}{7}

To find the smallest of 916\frac{9}{16},35\frac{3}{5},58 \frac{5}{8}

LCM of (16 , 5 , 8) = 80

⇒ 916\frac{9}{16}= 4580\frac{45}{80}

⇒ 35\frac{3}{5} = 4880\frac{48}{80}

⇒ 58\frac{5}{8}=5080\frac{50}{80}

∴ The smallest of the three is 916\frac{9}{16}

Required difference = 97−916\frac{9}{7} - \frac{9}{16} = 81112\frac{81}{112}
