The bar graph given below shows the sales of books from six schools during two consecutive years, 2013 and 2014.

What percentage of the average sales of schools A, B, and C in 2014 is the average sales of schools A, C, and F in 2013?

The correct answer is option 1 i.e. 81.08%.

Average sales of A, B and C in 2014 = (70 + 35 + 80)/3 = 185/3

Average sales of A, C and F in 2013 = (50 + 60 + 40)/3 = 150/3 = 50

Required percentage = 501853×100{50 \over {185 \over 3}} \times 100  = 150185×100{150 \over 185} \times 100 = 81.08%
