Given that

The area of the sector of a circle of radius (r = 12 cm) is 32 π cm²

Formula used

The area of the sector of a circle = (θ/360°) × πr²

Arc of the sector = rθ × (π/180°)

Calculation

⇒ 32 π = (θ/360°) × πr²

⇒ 32 = (θ/360°) × 12²

⇒ θ/360° = 32/144

⇒ θ = 80º

Hence, the arc of the sector = 12 × 80 × (π/180) =  $\frac{16}{3}$π cm
