The correct answer is option 3 i.e. Hockey.

  • The All India MCC Murugappa Gold Cup Tournament in Chennai is held for Hockey.
  • The tournament is one of the most prestigious and oldest hockey tournaments in South India, second only to the Beighton Cup held in the northern part of the country.
  • This tournament is jointly organised by the Murugappa Group and Madras Cricket Club (MCC).
  • In 1962, the Murugappa Group introduced an independent hockey tournament  called the Murugappa Gold Cup Championship, held in Egmore.
