Year Schools
School 1 School 2 School 3 School 4
2021 28 25 24 23

Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: B

Explanation

The correct answer is option 2 i.e. 280.

Total number of students in 2021 = 16000

Number of students in school 4 in 2021 = (23/100) × 16000 = 3680

Total number of students in 2022 = 18000

Number of students in school 4 in 2022 = (22/100) × 18000 = 3960

Difference = 3960 - 3680 = 280

Therefore, the difference in number of students in school 4 in 2022 with respect to 2021 is 280.
