Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: D

Explanation

The correct answer is option 4 i.e. 87

The total number of qualified students from districts B = 68000 × 25/100 = 17000

The total number of qualified students from districts C = 68000 × 28/100 = 19040

Number of students from districts B above 22 years old = 17000 × 78/100 = 13260

Number of students from districts C above 22 yearls old = 19040 × 80/100 = 15232

Percent of the number of qualified students who were above 22 years from District C = 13260/15232 × 100 = 87.05%
