Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: D

Explanation

The correct answer is option 4 i.e. 9,900

Solution :

The total  cakes sold on friday = (10/100) × 10500 = 1050

The ratio of vanilla cake to chocolate cake on friday = 4 : 3

Hence the number of chocolate cakes sold on friday = (3/7) × 1050 = 450

And the number of vanilla cakes sold on Friday = 1050 - 450 = 600

The total amount earned (in Rs) by selling all the vanilla cakes and chocolate cakes on Friday = (9 × 600) + (10 × 450) = 5400 + 4500 = Rs. 9900.
