Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: B

Explanation

The correct answer is Option 2 i.e. 11: 25.

Calculations:

Let the total population be x.

Population of goa in 1998 = 12% of x

Population of goa in 1997 = 12% of x × 100/120

Population of arunachal pradesh in 1998 = 25% of x

Population of arunachal pradesh in 1997 = 25% of x × 100/110

Required ratio = 12% of x × 100/120 : 25% of x × 100/110

⇒ 11 : 25
