Solve the following equation.

23sin2θ+cosθ−3=02\sqrt3sin^2\theta+cos\theta-\sqrt3=0  where θ{{\theta}} is an acute angle

Explanation

The correct answer is Option 3 i.e. 30º.

23sin2θ+cosθ−3=0{{2\sqrt3sin^2\theta+cos\theta-\sqrt3=0}}

Put θ{{\theta}} = 30º

23sin2 30 +cos 30−3=0{{2\sqrt3sin^2\ 30\ +cos\ 30 -\sqrt3=0}}

2 √3 × 1/4 + √3/2 - √3 = 0

0 = 0 [ LHS = RHS] 

Hence,   θ{{\theta}} = 30º is satisfies the given equation
