The correct answer is option 2 i.e.  $3 +\sqrt3$.

(a + b)² = a² + b² + 2ab

$\sqrt{(12+6\sqrt3)}$

$=\sqrt{(9+3+2\times3\times\sqrt3)}$

$=\sqrt{\big[3^2+(\sqrt3)^2+2\times3\times\sqrt3\big]}$

$=\sqrt{(3+\sqrt3)^2}$

$=3 +\sqrt3$
