SSC CHSL - 11 July 2024 - Shift 2 • Quantitative Aptitude • Q56

Shyam’s income is 20% less than Ram’s. How much is Ram’s income more than Shyam’s in percentage terms?

Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: C

Explanation

The correct answer is option 3 i.e. 25%.

Let Ram's income = Rs.100

Shyam’s income is 20% less than Ram’s

Shyam's income = Rs.80

Now,

Required percentage = (100 - 80)/80 × 100

⇒ 20/80 × 100 = 100/4 = 25%
