The correct answer is option 2 i.e. likes to celebrate.

  1. The error lies in part 2 of the statement because of the wrong use of "Subject-Verb agreement".
  2. We need to replace "Likes" with "Like" for making the statement grammatically correct.

Grammatical Concept:- 

  • Subjects and verbs must AGREE with one another in number (singular or plural). Thus, if a subject is singular, its verb must also be singular; if a subject is plural, its verb must also be plural.
  • As the subject is "People" which is plural hence, we need to use "Plural verb" here.
  • The chosen option contains the ERROR hence, it will be the correct answer.
