Correct answer: B

Explanation

The correct answer is option 2 i.e. has.

Context: The sentence describes a condition in the present regarding a child who possesses good parents. The correct verb should agree with the singular subject “child” in present tense.

Meaning of the words:

Have: Plural form or first/second person present tense, not suitable for singular “child.”
Has: Singular third-person present tense, correct in this context.
Are: Plural or second person, does not fit the singular subject.
Will: Indicates future tense, unsuitable as the sentence describes a general present condition.

Correct word: Has

Reason: The singular subject “child” requires “has” to indicate possession of good parents in the present tense.

Final Sentence: If a child has good parents and they are fed, looked after and loved, whatever they may do, it is improbable that they will ever again in life be given so much without having to do anything in return.

Hence, the chosen option is correct.
