Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: C

Explanation

The correct answer is Option 3 i.e. I said to him, “If you go around the park you will see some rare flowers.”

The given sentence is in indirect speech, to convert this sentence into direct speech we need to follow the following points:

  • 'That' will be omitted and Inverted commas will be used.
  • The reporting verb is in simple past tense i.e. 'said', will be used.
  • In the reporting speech, change the past tense form i.e. 'went' into present tense form i.e. 'go' and the present conditional tense i.e. 'would see' into future simple tense i.e. 'will see', when converting into direct speech.
  • Next, the pronoun 'he' will be changed to pronoun 'you' in direct speech.

After following these steps, we got the direct speech as: I said to him, “If you go around the park you will see some rare flowers.”

Hence, the correct answer is Option 3 i.e. I said to him, “If you go around the park you will see some rare flowers.”
