The correct answer is option 2 i.e. 63.

S ∝ (R + 7)

⇒ S = k(R + 7)

⇒ 42 = k(17 + 7)

⇒ 42 = 24k

⇒ k = 7/4

Value of S when R = 29

⇒ S = 74(29+7){7\over4}(29+7)

⇒ S = 7 × 9 = 63
