Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: D

Explanation

The correct answer is option 4 i.e. 805

Given:

Average earning of january month = Rs 925 per day

Average earning of first 20 days = Rs 881 per day

Average earning of last 20 days = Rs 915 per day

Concept Used:

Average = Sum of elements/Number of elements

Explanation:

Total earnings in the month of january = 925 × 31= 28675

Total earnings of first 20 days = 881 × 20 = 17620

Total earnings of last 20 days = 915 × 20 = 18300

Earning of 12th january to 20th january = (17620 + 18300) - 28675 = 7245

Hence average of earning of 12th january to 20th january = 7245/9 = 805.
