Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: A

Explanation

The correct answer is option 1 i.e. 10%.

Cost Price (CP) = ₹600 per watch

Marked Price (MP) = 600+25% of 600=600×1.25=₹750600 + 25\% \text{ of } 600 = 600 \times 1.25 = ₹750

12% discount on MP

Selling Price (SP) = 750−12% of 750=750×(1−0.12)=750×0.88=₹660750 - 12\% \text{ of } 750 = 750 \times (1 - 0.12) = 750 \times 0.88 = ₹660

Profit  = SP - CP = 660 - 600 = ₹60

Profit%  = (60600)×100=10\left( \frac{60}{600} \right) \times 100 = 10%%
