Ram traveled an equal distance with the speed of 40 km/hr, 45 km/h, and 60 km/hr. What is the average speed of Ram during the whole journey? Correct to two decimal places.

Given that

Ram traveled an equal distance with speeds of 40 km/hr, 45 km/h, and 60 km/hr.

Let the distance traveled by him be 360 km

Average Speed = Total Distance/Total Time

Average speed = 36012040+12045+12060\frac{360}{\frac{120}{40}+\frac{120}{45}+\frac{120}{60}}

= 360/(3 + 2.667 + 2)

= 360/7.667

= 46.96 km/h
