Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: C

Explanation

Given:

Number of books = 20

Pages per book = 200

Print cost = ₹25 per page

Binding = ₹80 per book

Advertising = ₹2000

Supplies = ₹50 per book

Selling price = ₹7500 per book

Formula:

Profit = Total selling price − Total cost

Print cost per book = 200 × 25 = 5000

Print cost of 20 books = 5000 × 20 = 100000

Binding cost = 80 × 20 = 1600

Supply cost = 50 × 20 = 1000

Total cost = 100000 + 1600 + 1000 + 2000 = 104600

Total selling price = 7500 × 20 = 150000

Profit = 150000 − 104600 = Rs 45400
