Show answer & explanation
Correct answer: D
Explanation
The 'Kuki' are primarily a prominent tribe of Northeast India, and their traditional folk dance forms an integral part of the cultural identity of states such as Nagaland and Manipur.
In Nagaland, members of the Kuki community perform group dances while clad in colorful traditional attire during their festivities, particularly during harvest festivals (such as 'Mim Kut').
These dances incorporate the use of bamboo and traditional musical instruments, serving to showcase their valor and their deep connection with nature.
Although the Kuki tribe is dispersed across several states, their dance holds a highly esteemed position within the cultural fabric of Nagaland.
Therefore, Option (D)—Nagaland—is the correct answer.
