The correct answer is option 1 i.e. Everyone are.

  1. The error lies in part 1 of the statement because of the wrong use of "Subject-Verb agreement".
  2. We need to replace "ARE" with "IS" for making the statement grammatically correct.

Grammatical Concept:- 

  • Subjects and verbs must AGREE with one another in number (singular or plural). Thus, if a subject is singular, its verb must also be singular; if a subject is plural, its verb must also be plural.
  • 'Everyone" is considered to be a singular pronoun hence, we need to use a singular verb.
  • The chosen option contains the ERROR hence, it will be the correct answer.
