Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: C

Explanation

The correct answer is option 3 i.e. 9840

Calculations:

Let the total number of voters be 100x

Winning candidate got = 48% of 100x = 48x

According to the question;

⇒ 48x = 15744

⇒ x = 328

Number of voters who didn't casted the votes = 100x - 48x - 22x = 30x

⇒ 30 × 328

⇒ 9840
