Understanding Application
Tricks

Let the total number of Students = 100

So

Total boy = 60 and total girls = 40

Now

No. of failed boys students = 20

100% = 60

20% = 60/100 × 20

= 12

passed boys students = 60 - 12

= 48

No. of girls students 65%

100% = 40

65% = 40/100 × 65

= 26

Hence

Total passed students = 48 + 26

= 74

means 74%
