SSC GD Const 2025 (English) - 21 Feb 2025 - Shift 3 • Reasoning • Q63

In a certain code language,

'A + B' means ‘A is the daughter of B’,

'A – B' means ‘A is the brother of B’,

'A × B' means ‘A is the wife of B’ and

'A ÷ B' means ‘ A is the father of B’.

Based on the above, how is P related to T if ‘P – Q + R × S ÷ T’?

Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: B

Explanation

The correct answer is option 2 i.e. Brother.

If ‘P – Q + R × S ÷ T’ → P is the brother of Q, Q is the daughter of R, R is the wife of S and S is the father of T.

Thus, P is the brother of T.
