In a certain code language,
A + B means ‘A is the mother of B’,
A – B means ‘A is the brother of B’,
A x B means ‘A is the wife of B’ and
A ÷ B means ‘A is the father of B’.
Based on the above, how is U related to Z if ‘U – V x W ÷ Y + Z’?

Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: B

Explanation

The correct answer is option 2 i.e. Mother's mother's brother.

‘U – V x W ÷ Y + Z’→ U is the brother of V; V is the wife of W; W is the father of Y; Y is the mother of Z.

Hence, U is the mother's mother's brother of Z.
