Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: C

Explanation

The correct answer is Option 3 i.e. 9.2% more.

The population of city A in 2018 = 54
Population of city B in 2018 = 64
Population of city A in 2019 = 54 × 110/100 = 59.4
Population of city B in 2019 = 64 × 85/100 = 54.4
The population of city A is more than that of B by = (59.4 – 54.4) / 54.4 × 100 = 9.2%
