Improve the underlined part of the sentence. Choose 'No improvement' as an answer if the sentence is grammatically correct.

My grandmother taught me to sew my own clothes.

The correct answer is option 3 i.e. No improvement.

  • The underlined part is correct and requires no imporvement. Taught will be followed by me as it is the correct pronoun to be used. 
  • "Teach mine" uses the wrong tense. The sentence reflects past tense and "teach" is present tense. 
  • "Taught myself" uses the wrong pronoun. "Myself" is a reflexive pronoun which will change the whole context of the sentence.
  • "Taught I" also uses the wrong pronoun. "I" is subject pronoun and can't be used as an object.
