Given that

If △XYZ ≅ △LMR, then m + x + p = _________________.⇒ XY = LM,

⇒ 2m + 1 = 5

⇒ m = 2

Similarly, YZ = MR

⇒ 2p + 2 = 8

⇒ p = 3

Similarly, ZX = RL

⇒ 7 = 2x - 1 

⇒ x = 4

Hence, the value of m + p + x = 2 + 3 + 4 = 9
