If x2 + 4y2 + 3z2 + 194\frac{19}{4}= 2 3\sqrt{3} (x + y + z), then the value of (x - 4y + 3z) is:

Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: C

Explanation

The correct answer is option 3 i.e. 3\sqrt{3}

(a - b)2 = a2 - 2ab + b2

IfA2+B2+C2=0=>A=B=C=0If A^2 + B^2 + C^2 = 0 => A = B = C = 0

x2 + 4y2 + 3z2 + 194=2√3(x+y+z)\frac{19}{4}=2√{3}(x+y+z)

⇒ (x2 - 2√3x + 3) + (4y2 - 2√3y + (3/4)) + (3z2 - 2√3z + 1) = 0

⇒ (x - √3)2 + (2y - (√3/2))2 + (√3z - 1)2 = 0

So,

(x - √3)2 = 0

⇒ x = √3

(2y - (√3/2))2 = 0

⇒ y = √3/4

(√3z - 1)2 = 0

⇒ z = 1/√3

Now,

x - 4y + 3z

⇒ √3 - 4 × (√3/4) + 3 × (1/√3)

⇒ √3 - √3 + √3

⇒ √3
