If x+1x=2x+\frac{1}{x}=2, then the value of x11+1x20x^{11}+\frac{1}{x^{20}} is:

The correct answer is option 3 i.e. 2.

x + (1/x) = 2

⇒ x2 + 1 = 2x

⇒ x2 - 2x + 1 = 0

⇒ (x - 1)2 = 0

⇒ x - 1 = 0

⇒ x = 1

So, x11 + (1/x20) = 111 + (1/120) = 1 + 1 = 2

Therefore, the value of the expression is 2.
