Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: B

Explanation

The correct answer is option 2

Three number are in the ratio 3 : 2 : 5

Three numbers are 3x, 2x, 5x

Now,

(3x)2 + (2x)2 + (5x)2 = 1862

9x2 + 4x2 + 25x2 = 1862

38x2 = 1862

x2 = 49

Middle number = 2x = 14
