Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: C

Explanation

The correct answer is option 3 i.e. 3.

110 = 10 × 11

Divisibility rule of 10: The Last digit must be 0.

y = 0

Divisibility rule of 11: if the difference between the sum of its digits at odd places and the sum of its digits at even places is either 0 or divisible by 11

⇒ x = 3

⇒ (x + 5y) = 3 + 0 = 3
