If the diameter of a solid hemisphere is 14 cm, then what will be its total surface area?

The correct answer is option 1 i.e. 462 cm2

The radius of the hemisphere = 142\frac{14}{2} cm

⇒ 7 cm

The total surface area of hemisphere = 3 × π × (7)2 cm2

⇒ 3 × (227\frac{22}{7}) × 49 cm2

⇒ 3 × 22 × 7 cm2

⇒ 462 cm2

∴ The total surface area is 462 cm2
