If tan(A + B) = √3 and tan (A - B)= 13\frac{1}{\sqrt{3}}; 0º < (A + B) < 90º; A > B, then the values of A and B are respectively.

Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: A

Explanation

The correct answer is option 1 i.e. 45° and 15°

Given that

If tan(A + B) = √3

⇒ A + B = 60º .......(1

tan (A - B)= 13\frac{1}{\sqrt{3}}

⇒ A - B = 30º ........(2

After solving the equation 1 and 2

⇒ A = 45º and B = 15º
