If sec(5α\alpha - 15º) = cosec(15º - 2α\alpha), then the value of cosα\alpha + sin2α\alpha + tan(1.5α\alpha) is:

Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: A

Explanation

The correct answer is option 1 i.e.  3\sqrt{3} + 1

⇒ sec(5α\alpha - 15º) = cosec(15º - 2α\alpha)

⇒ sec(5α\alpha - 15º) = cosec(90 - 15º + 2α\alpha)

⇒ sec(5α\alpha - 15º) = sec(75º + 2α\alpha)

⇒ 3α\alpha = 90

⇒ α\alpha = 30°

⇒ cosα\alpha + sin2α\alpha + tan(1.5α\alpha)

⇒ cos30 + sin60 + tan45

⇒ 32\frac{\sqrt3}{2} + 32\frac{\sqrt3}{2} + 1

⇒ 3\sqrt3 + 1.
