If K+1K+2=0K + \frac{1}{K}+2 = 0 and K < 0, then what is the vlaue of K17+1K11K^{17} + \frac{1}{K^{11}}?

Explanation

The correct answer is option 2 i.e. - 2.

K + 1/K + 2 = 0

If K = - 1 then, (- 1) + 1/(- 1) + 2 = - 1 - 1 + 2 = 0

Now, K17 + 1/K11 = (- 1)17 + 1/(- 1)11 = - 1 - 1 = - 2
