SSC CPO 2025 PYQ — Question 110

SSC CPO - 9 Dec 2025 - Shift 1 • Quantitative Aptitude • Q110

If each exterior angle of a regular polygon measures 5137∘51 \frac{3}{7}^\circ, find the ratio of the number of its diagonals to the number of its sides.

Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: C

Explanation

Each exterior angle = 5137∘51 \frac{3}{7}^\circ

Sum of exterior angles = 360°

5137∘51 \frac{3}{7}^\circ = 360/7

Number of sides = 360 ÷ (360/7) = 7

Number of diagonals = n(n−3)/2

= 7(7−3)/2

= 7×4/2

= 14

Diagonals : Sides = 14 : 7 = 2 : 1
