We know, cot B = Base/Perpendicular

Here, Base = 12 cm and Perpendicular = 5 cm

Also, Hypotenuse = {Base² + Perpendicular²}^1/2

Hypotenuse = {12² + 5²}^1/2 = (144 + 25)^1/2

Hypotenuse = (169)^1/2 = 13 cm

We have to find sec B which is Hypotenuse/Base

So, sec B = 13/12
