If cot θ = 43{{4} \over 3}, 0 < θ < 90°, 5pcos2θ sinθ = cot2θ, then the value of p is:

Explanation

The correct answer is option 4 i.e. 2527 {{25} \over 27}.

 cot θ = 43{{4} \over 3} 

⇒ Hypotenuse2 = 42 + 32 = 16 + 9 = 25

⇒ Hypotenuse = 5

Now we have,

⇒ cos θ = 4/5, sin θ = 3/5

According to the question;

⇒ 5 × p × (16/25) × (3/5) = 16/9

⇒ p = (5 × 5)/27 = 25/27
