The correct answer is Option 4 i.e. 527/625.

(cos q + sin q) = 31/25                      -----(1)

Put cosq = 24/25 and sinq = 7/25

So, (cos q + sin q)

= 24/25 + 7/25

= 31/25 (satisfied)

In a right-angle triangle let's assume 

Base = 24

Perpendicular = 7

Hypotaneous = 25

So, H² = P² + B²

⇒ 25² = 7² + 24²

⇒ 625 = 49 + 576

625 = 625  (Satisfied)

So, cosq² = (24/25)² = 576/625
